Mike watched as the Venipede escaped. "It looks like it escaped, We need to go after it somehow!" Mike yelled as Sandile jumped onto his head again. "It must be taking damage from the sand tomb anyways so it should appear back here in no time..." Mike said he started to sit down hoping to see if the venipede comes back out, He really wanted to catch it, But he mostly liked to have a electric type like pikachu.

Ashley slumped down as well, pulling on some of the grass. "Well, Venipede are normally in herds. I'll bet the herd is what's been eating all the crops!" She exclaimed, pointing towards the hole. "Which means they'll eventually come back for more, right?" [/b] She yawned and laid down on the grass, almost falling asleep. "I suppose we'll just have to wait."[/blockquote] |

Mike stood back up. He started to smile at the idea, "Then I can catch one of them to add to my team. Mike said, Sandile was fast asleep regaining some health while being asleep. Mike started to sigh he would just have to wait then, he sat down trying to wait for the venipedes to come out.

Almost an entire hour went by with nothing. No response. No ground movements or disappearing crops. The two sat there, half asleep, when a rumble came from underground. Ashley jumped to her feet along with Cyndaquil, who sprouted his flame, ready to battle.
Holes appeared in the ground as dozens of Venipede sprouted from the ground. They all had their sights set on the two trainers.
And at the front of the group was a glossy, shiny Venipede, He was probably the leader. He growled to the Pokémon, demanding a battle.
You have encountered: [/size] A Shiny Venipede! [/center][/color] Cyndaquil immediately freaked and leaped to the site. After all, it was Mike that wanted to catch one. "Mike!" Mike saw that this Venipede was different from the other ones. Mike put Sandile down as she was awake, Mike started to smile happily. "Let's get ourselves a new member! Sand Tomb let's go!" Mike commanded. Sandile opened her mouth as she sent the sand tomb spiraling around the leader Venipede. "We'll defeat you and catch you!" Mike bellowed as the sand tomb came closer.

The Venipede snickered and used protect to block the Sand Tomb, then used Rollout on the Sandile. Venipede -- 100% -- poison sting - poison tail - rollout - protect
Venipede used Protect, then used Rollout! Did 13% damage! [/color] |

Mike watched as Sandile slid backwards he called Sandile to go near him. "Here's the plan Sandile, Zigzag then fake that your going to use bite attack, when your near that Venipede use sandtomb it could definitly hit!" Mike whispered in her ear. Sandile started to run in zigzags towards Venipede then when she got close she started to radiate a black aura. When Venipede was about to dodge the black aura vanished then the sand tomb spiraled towards Venipede. "Go, Hit!!!" Mike bellowed as the sand tomb was coming even closer towards Venipede.

Attack Hit! It's Super Effective! Did 22% damage! Angry, the Venipede charged up another Rollout while he was still inside the Sand Tomb, sending rocks everywhere. Venipede -- 88% -- poison sting - poison tail - rollout - protect

Some of those rocks hit Sandile and damaged him by 15% but that didn't stop Sandile. The sand tomb vanished for now. "Sandile use Sand Attack let's go!!!" Mike commanded. Sandile ran in front of Venipede as she started to make sand go towards Venipede. If that didn't hit then the sand tomb would. The Sand Tomb started to appear once again. It started to spiral around Venipede and closed in once more.

Attack Hit! Did 25% damage! The Venipede rubbed its eyes as it was hit by Sand Attack and then was tossed aside by the Sand Tomb. Now weak, it tried hard to stand up. Venipede -- 63% -- poison sting - poison tail - rollout - protect |

Sandile smiled as the Venipede was getting weaker. "Sandile use another Sand Attack!!!" Sandile began to make sand fly towards Venipede once again. Sandile ran back towards Mike to avoid being hit by the sand tomb as well. The sand tomb appeared once again spiraling towards Venipede again.

Did 29% damage! [/color] The Venipede managed to dodge the Sand Attack, but the Sand Tomb nailed him, sending him flying. He was almost down, and couldn't take much more. Venipede -- 34% -- poison sting - poison tail - rollout - protect |

Mike watched as Venipede was getting even more weaker. "No...Not yet...Just one more sand tomb then i'll catch it...Just to be on the safe side.." Mike said as Sandile nodded. "Sandile use Sand Attack once more then run back here again!"Mike commanded. Sandile did as he said as she ran back to Mike. The Sand tomb appeared for a last time, Not that strong so that it wouldn't make the venipede faint and try to run away.

Sandile started to pant she was worned out from using the sand attacks as well. Mike took a empty pokeball from his backpack as fast as he could and then he smiled. "Alright then, It's time for me to catch this Venipede! Pokeball go!!" Mike yelled as he threw the pokeball towards Venipede. It hit the venipede as it made a white big light the venipede was inside the pokeball and it started to shake.
