Forrest and the Bold Flaaffy! [Open]

Ashley, Adrain, and Mike had just set up camp. The two boys were searching for berries to eat for lunch while Ashley tried to gather some Firewood. With her newly evolved Quilava, it would be even easier to get a fire started. She walked around the forest, picking up any dry branches she could find. Quilava helped to an extent, trying to pick up branches with his mouth but continuously dropping them to Ashley's amusement. Finally, just when it seemed they had enough Firewood, Ashley and Quilava were attacked out of nowhere.

"Aiee!" she screamed as she fell back, sending the Firewood everywhere. Quilava's fur stood up on edge as he released an Ember to the mysterious attacker, nailing it and sending it flying into the bush.

"What the hell was that?" Ashley rubbed her head and cautiously stood up, approaching the bush every so slowly. Suddenly, the Pokémon leaped out again, smacked her with its tail, and dashed off. Rubbing her cheek, she groaned and murmured, "What was that about?"

A voice came out of nowhere. "Excuse me, have you seen a Flaffy anywhere?" A rather young boy walked up to her, concern gravely shown on his face. Ashley rubbed her eyes and slowly shook her head. "No, but I was just attacked by a Pokémon."

The boy suddenly grew excited. "Please! That may have been Flaffy! Did you see where she went off to?" She nodded and pointed. The boy gratefully bowed and ran in the direction. Ashley and Quilava gave each other glances before shrugging and picking up their Firewood once more.

She returned to camp a little later than she expected, but whatever. Ashley dropped the firewood in a pile and told Quilava to light it up. It burst into flames as the ember ignited the wood, and the fire cackled, showing its life. She sighed and sat down next to the flames, every so often looking over her shoulder to see if the boy was there.

[Adrain]

Adrain and Squirtle come back with arms full of berries and placed the berries in a bucket. Adrain looked up at Ashley, "Mike will be here soon..." Adrain grinned, sitting down beside her. "So.. wanna have a battle while we wait for Mike? One on One battle?

Ashley shook her head subconsciously, still thinking about the boy from before. Should she help him look for that Flaaffy? Whatever the case, Mike wasn't back yet. What was keeping him?

"I, uh, think I'll go look for Mike." She stumbled to her feet and walked back into the forest.

Then again, she lied.

[Adrain]

Adrain ran his fingers through his hair, guessing Ashley still felt weird around him. "Squirtle what am I going to do?" Squirtle looked up at him, but didn't say anything. Adrain lied back and watched as it started to get dark.

Ashley sighed as she peered through the thick forest. She might have been going in far too deep, and her chances of getting lost were increasing. This is stupid... she told herself, cursing at herself for making such a stupid decision. But right when she was about to turn back, she found the boy from before making quite a racket.

"Flaaffy? Flaaffy!" He called out numerous times. Ashley approached him and tapped his shoulder to get his attention. Screaming, he twirled around and tripped over a branch.

"S-sorry!" Ashley apologized and helped him up. He shook his head, "No biggie. Can you help me find Flaaffy?"

Ashley nodded. "Sure, once you tell me this: is she yours?"

The boy suddenly tensed. "Oh! No, she isn't. See, I found her abandoned by her trainer in the forest. She comes around every so often to my house a ways from here to get some food, but I never thought of catching her. I heard she had been causing some trouble for passing trainers, so I thought I could come out here and get her." the boy sighed, "So far, no luck. By the way, name's Forrest."

"Ashley," she replied and nodded towards him. A sudden shifting of a nearby bush alerted her, causing Larvitar to pop out from her Pokéball.

"Lar! Lar, larv!" She poked and prodded at the bush until the Flaaffy jumped out, irritated at her curiosity. The Flaaffy released a Thunderbolt. Shocked, Ashley was about to dive to rescue her, but the Thunderbolt did nothing to Larvitar!

She shook it off with a breeze. Angry, she started yelling at the Flaaffy, who replied briskly and crossed her arms.

"Wh-what are you saying?" Ashley tried to communicate, but Larvitar ignored her. The Flaaffy suddenly took off once more.

"Oh! Not again!" Forrest sighed and grumbled. Ashley chuckled slightly and stepped up next to him.

"I'll help you find her again, come on!" She grabbed his arm and pulled him along.

Mike was smiling widely as Pikachu held alot of berries in his arms while Sandile on her back, Mike was carrying tons of berries in his arms as well. They finally reached camp and he found out that they weren't here.. But Pikachu, Sandile and Mike put all of the berries into the bucket as well, it was now filled! Mike watched as Pikachu ran up to his shoulder and Sandile jumped on his head. Mike started to smile but he had to look for Ashley or Adrian so he ran back into the forest, He finally happened to find Ashley..

[Adrain]

Adrain walked with Jolteon, and Rufflet flying above them. They headed back to camp to make sure none of their stuff was stolen. It was dark now, and the stars were out tonight. Adrain let out Squirtle, Turtwig, and Ponyta out of their balls. Adrain set up his big tent, with 3 rooms inside, and Crawled into the middle room, with Squirtle, Jolteon, Turtwig, and Rufflet. Ponyta was to big to fit in there so he slept outside beside the fire. Adrain got up when they was all asleep and sat by the fire, waiting for the others to return, while he cooked up some berries to eat.

A squeal alerted the others. Ashley had been attacked once more by the Flaaffy.

"Flaaffy! Stop it, bad girl"' Forrest tried to grab her, but she swung her tail and smacked him in his head, sending him flying against a tree. Larvitar managed to jump onto of her and stopped her from running away this time. She tried to electrocute her, but Larvitar was immune to it. The Thundershock spread widely across the forest, alerting all nearby.

[Adrain]

Adrain felt a surge of electricity. "What the!?!" Jolteon felt it to since she was an electric pokemon. She jumped out of the tent and started to run to the source. Adrain ran after her deep into the forest. Adrain yelled at her, "Jolteon wait!" Jolteon kept running until she stopped beside a Flaaffy. Ashley stood near that Flaaffy. Adrain walked up next to her. "Whats going on?" Jolteon growled, apparently not liking the Flaaffy for waking her up.

Finally, the Flaaffy ended her struggle and fell limp under Larvitar's body. She smirked in pride of herself for stopping the electric sheep. "Lar." she said in a prideful tone.

Ashley sighed in relief and stroked the Flaaffy's mane. "Hey, it's alright. You're probably upset because your trainer abandoned you, hm? But you have Forrest, and he's been taking care of you, right?" The Flaaffy grunted and tried to look away, but Larvitar shifted so she couldn't.

"It's alright. You're not alone anymore." She softly petted the Flaaffy, and for once, she smiled.

"Hey, I think she likes you!" Forrest joked as Larvitar released her. She stretched a bit before padding over to Ashley's side, mumbling a thank you in her own language. Ashley nodded and smiled.

"Maybe she'd like to go with you?" Forrest stood up and stretched. "After all, she seems to like you, and I'm not allowed to take her home." The Flaaffy seemed ecstatic at the thought.

Nodding, Ashley took out a PokéBall and placed it on the ground for her to choose. She walked over and nudged the ball, and a red aura glowed around her and sucked her inside.

Adrain smiled, "Nice going, but I better get back to check on my own pokemon." Adrain and Jolteon ran back to the camp, to see that everything was fine. Jolteon went back into the tent, and fell asleep. Adrain lied outside and just stared at the stars.

Mike went back to the camp he was happy for Ashley that she had caughten her own pokemon. "So your cooking something?" Mike asked. He then remembered he bought some supplys before heading to route 2 again. Mike quickly unpacked his backpack as he got out some pokemon food for every type of pokemon. It was big enough for a week Mike guessed. Mike started to grin as he had some pokemon bowls he gotten as well. Mike had gotten one for each pokemon everyone had just in case they wanted to eat. "It's time to eat everyone!" Mike yelled as he sent out all of his pokemon. Sandile and Pikachu jumped off of Mike as they waited for Mike to poor the food. "Scraggy!! Pi pikachu! Sandile!!! Veni Venipede, Squirtle!!" Everyone yelled at the same time. Mike started to smile as he placed down five bowls in front of all his pokemon he started to pour pokemon food enough to fill everyones bowl he then put the box of pokemon food back safely hidden in his backpack. He watched as all of his pokemon started to eat the pokemon food.

[Adrain]

Adrain looked at Mikes squirtle and wondered if they get mixed up, so Adrain pulled a small red string and went inside the tight, wrapping it around his tail. Adrain smiled and went back outside, and pulled out a pan from his bag as well. "Alright since Ashley is the girl , we'll let her cook." Adrain laughed and sat down on the hard cold ground.

Mike watched as it was still daylight well sort of. Mike started to smile as every finished eating their pokemon food. Mike returned Venipede,Scraggy and Squirtle back into their pokeballs. Mike grabbed all five bowls as he started to walk away with Pikachu on his shoulders and Sandile on his head. "I'll see you guys around..I got things to do maybe we'll meet again soon." Mike said. Mike walked towards a river as he started to clean the bowls once they were clean enough Mike dried them up and put them in his backpack once again. Mike started to walk away, "Ashley and Adrian, I'll see you again later.." Mike said as he saw that the river lead up to the exit of route 2.
