Mike lived in the Arya region. Right now Mike was inside his house, He wanted to make sure that he was ready to get his very first pokemon. Mike quickly got ready as he put on his backpack. He headed straight outside the door, When he got out he closed the door silently and locked it. Mike started to smile he wondered what type of pokemon were in the lab that he was headed to. He started to walk he lived near the pokemon lab, It didn't take long for Mike to arrive at the entrance of the lab. First off, Mike knocked on the door just to be polite. He started to wait for awhile. "I'm coming in!!" Mike yelled as he opened the door when he got in he closed the door silently. He started to look around to see if the professor was in the same room as he was in. "Are you in here?" Mike asked as he awaited for an answer. He was still at the doorway just in case the professor wanted him to be outside. Mike tried to keep his excitement from making him smile, He wanted to look serious.

She stumbled across the stair steps, fumbling in her purse for her keys... before noticing the door was wide open. Crap, she forgot to lock the door again.
Good job, Cynthia. A stranger's probably in there now. Professor Yew stepped inside and cleared her throat loudly to divert their attention to her. She couldn't help but notice the excited vibe emitting from the boy. He must have been here for his Pokémon.

"Ah! Hello there, I'm Professor Yew! I just went out for a bit, and I suppose I forgot to lock the door." Again... she added silently to herself. "So, I'm guessing you want to cut to the chase? What Pokémon do you want? Or would you rather have me choose for you?" she joked.

Mike let his excitement get the best of him, He couldn't say anything at first but after awhile, "N-No I would like to choose." Mike knew that the professor was joking but he wanted to let that out first. Mike took a deep breath, He started to look at his card that he received on what type of pokemon the professor had. It already said that the electric type, Shinx was taken but there were others. Mike put the card away as he stared back at the professor. "I guess I will take the Sandile please." Mike started to smile widely. But he knew that he still had to be polite to the professor to so that she wouldn't get mad if he wasn't polite. Mike just stood there awaiting the professors responses to his answers.

The Professor gave a brief nod before walking over to an incubator holding four Pokéballs that fit in four clean sockets. There was one more space for a ball, but it was missing. She picked out the Sandile and grabbed a Starter Pack for him as well before handing them to him. "Take good care of her. She's a bit brave to the point of being foolish, so don't let her get the best of herself."

Mike put the starter pack into his backpack. He started to smile happily, Mike nodded at what professor Yew said. "I'll be sure to keep an eye on her!" Mike quickly sent out Sandile. She looked at her new trainer, She began to then look into Mike's eyes like she was studying Mike. "Sand Sandile!!!" Sandile yelled happily. Mike picked up Sandile as he smiled, "My names Mike, It's nice to meet you!" Mike said as he then looked back at Professor Yew. "Thanks Professor Yew, I'll see you around!" Mike said putting Sandile down. Both Sandile and Mike began to walk out the door, Ready to begin their pokemon journey.
