Mike was way ahead of Ashley now, He was now in the plains. He started to sit down in the plains now as he waited for Ashley to catch up. He made sure that his egg wasn't cracked or anything, And it wasn't. Mike sighed with relief as he waited for Ashley to come closer.

Panting from running, Ashley wiped her forehead and sweated, her hands on her knees, trying to catch her breath. "Y-you run too fast!" She gasped for air and sat down. Then again, she was still wearing her light brown, fluffy coat. But it was the coat her parents gave her before... well, never mind. She couldn't let it go or take it off, despite the heat. Even Cyndaquil was panting from the heat. |

Now that Mike saw Ashley sweating he found out that he was sweating as well. He didn't want to take out his sweater since it was a special sweater. But Mike could keep on going, Mike stared at Ashley and smiled, "You look worn out!" Mike yelled happily. Mike stood back up and started to stretch he started to walk.

Ashley couldn't help but chuckle and followed him further down the road. Maybe it was time to get rid of her coat, but she just couldn't bring herself to do so. Carrying her egg, she followed Mike down the road until she came to a stop.
"It's getting kinda late. Do you have any sleeping bags?" She asked, embarrassed that she forgot to bring some. |

"Let me check first!" Mike said unzipping his bag. Mike put the egg safely beside Sandile then he saw that he brought two extra sleeping bags just in case he lost one. He gave one sleeping bag to Ashley then he took out a sleeping back for himself. He then put the egg back in his backpack safely then he zipped the bag shut. "Yep, Theres your sleeping bag." Mike said as he crawled into his. Sandile went inside the sleeping bag as well sleeping on top of Mike's legs. Mike started to yawn, "Well I guess i'm going to bed now." Mike said happily.

Ashley yawned deeply as she crawled into her own. "Ditto..." she mumbled and quickly fell asleep, her Cyndaquil sitting next by her, keeping her warm.

A few paw steps against the ground didn't wake them up. A small, invisible Pokémon crawled over to Mike's backpack, picking at the zipper. Finally realizing how it worked, the Pokémon snickered when it found the Egg inside. Perfect.

Mike yawned as he crawled out of his sleeping bag he folded it up and unzipped his backpack. He then found out that it was missing! "M-My egg it's gone!!" Mike shrieked while he put the sleeping bag in the backpack. He looked everywhere around the plains but nothing was there! "Who could of tooken it?! Sandile, Your good with some foot prints can you try to find out who took it?" Mike asked his Sandile. Sandile nodded as she began to sniff at the ground she then saw some foot prints. "Sand..Sandile!!" Sandile yelled. Mike quickly woke Ashley up as Mike started to follow Sandile. Sandile continued to sniff as it came to a dead end, The foot prints went in two different directions.

Ashley stirred inside her sleeping bag. "Hmmm? What's wrong?" Her eyes were wide open when she noticed that their eggs were both missing.
"Wh-what?" She gasped and jumped up, not bothering to zip up her sleeping bag. "Two footprints... that means two thieves. One of them might have your egg while the other might have mine. We should split up to find them." She nodded to Mike, then set off following the left footprints. |

Mike started to yell, "When you find your thief and you get your egg back meet back at where we were sleeping at!" Mike yelled as he started to follow another footprint. Sandile started to sniff the footprints to make sure that it came from Mike's backpack and it did. So Mike and Sandile started to follow it, It was like a endless footprint, Mike brought his backpack as well just so that he didn't forget anything he needed that was important.

Ashley followed the footprints with Cyndaquil sniffing, making sure they were going the right way. After about ten minutes of walking, they came to a valley deeper than the plains. And down below, she could see a Pokémon disappear into a bush while carrying an egg! "Cyndaquil, let's go!" He responded with a "Cynda Cynda!" and the two were off rolling down the hill. When they reached the bottom, they spotted the Pokémon from before. A Purrloin! No surprise there, after all, they were natural-born thieves. She nodded to Cyndaquil who used Ember to scare off the Purrloin. It worked, and the Purrloin quickly scattered and leaped away. "Good job!" she praised him as she ran down to gather her egg. However, the Purrloin was watching from the bushes, and had just decided to reclaim her stolen treasure. She leaped out, using Fury Swipes, to attack Ashley. She screamed, but Cyndaquil used tackle to knock her out of the air. She landed with a thud nearby and spun around to face them again, this time using Assist. And the Assist turned into a Hydro Pump! Attack Hit! [/size][/center] It's super effective! [/color] Did 100% damage! A One-Hit KO! [/color] Cyndaquil -- 0% -- tackle - leer - smokescreen
Cyndaquil Fainted! Cyndaquil! Ashley quickly scooped him up in her arms and cradled the egg in one arm and Cyndaquil in the other. She turned around, desperate to escape, but the Purrloin jumped onto the trees to follow her. They would never lose her.
She suddenly stopped. There was nowhere to turn. Ashley turned to face her opponent, but knew that they would be attacked. As the Purrloin prepared to strike, Ashley screamed.
~ Crack, crack ~
~ Glow, glow ~

Mike finally reached the end of the end of the footprints and in the middle there was his egg. Mike and Sandile quickly ran towards it as Mike was about to come and grab it Purrloins were watching from a distance. One of the Purrloins would come and if that fainted then more will come until Mike was doomed. Mike couldn't use venipede since venipede was still weakened so Mike only had to stick to Sandile. Suddenly a Purrloin appeared as it was about to strike Sandile!

Ashley felt the egg in her hand glow vibrantly. A sudden burst of energy exploded from the egg, and a Pokémon was left in its wake, along with scattered shards of egg shells.
"La! Lar!" A soft voice vibrated from the egg. Ashley gasped.
Larvitar | | Level 5 | | ♀ | | Naughty | | bite- leer - sandstorm The baby Larvitar gathered all of its baby strength and unleashed a powerful Sandstorm to cover their escape! Ashley took the chance and started climbing back up the hill. Larvitar used Sandstorm!
As they were climbing up the hill, Ashley's coat was caught on a branch and covered in dirt. She didn't even notice that it fell off. As she climbed back at the top, she realized it was missing.
"What? No! I lost my mom's coat!" She scolded herself and grumbled. She'd lost her coat, revealing a light blue tank top underneath.

Mike saw the purrloin and Sandile as well, Sandile got ready to fight the Purrloin. Suddenly it began to charge towards Sandile at full speed trying to use Fury Swipes. As it got to Sandile it managed to use fury swipes on her. "Don't give in, Sandile use Bite attack!!!" Mike shouted as Sandile started to use bite attack to fight back.

Adrain rode his ponyta through Vaharya Plains, when he saw a girl around 16 climbing up a hill. "Stop Ponyta." Ponyta stopped dead in his tracks, and Adrain & Squirtle slide off ponyta, and walk over to the girl. "Hey cutie, need any help?" Adrain grinned at her.

Ashley grunted up the hill, carrying each Pokémon in one arm. Her eyes lifted to see the young boy before her.
"Even if I wanted help, it sure wouldn't be from you." She growled as Larvitar gave him a glare, as if to protect her "mother."
