Mike was watching nearby in a seat he wondered what pokemon the gym leader would choose. Shinti started to smirk as he looked at the puny Chimchar even though if his gym was a grass type he had a perfect pokemon to finish the chimchar easily. "Hmph, A fire type but that won't stop me, Let's go Chikorita!" Shinti shouted as he sent out his Chikorita. Mike was in shock he forgot that this gym was a grass type, he wondered how the gym leader would win this battle! "You make the first move, Squirt!" Shinti said to Ichigo.

Adrain sat by Mike, with Squirtle on his lap. Squirtle was fast asleep since he was lazy and he's been in a lot of battles lately. Adrain's face stung red cause apparently he flirted with the Gym leaders girlfriend. "Let's go Ichigo! This will be an easy battle for you."

Ichigo looked at the bleachers where mike and Adrain sat. He smiled at chimchar. Chimchar smiled right back. "Now use ember" he said. And chimchar did so. Chimchar- 100%-Ember-Leer-Scratch

Chikorita was hit by the ember but that didn't stop her, she still had strength on her side! Chikorita started to do her victory chant, "Chikor Chika Chikor Chika! Chika chika chikorita!!" After Chikorita finished her chant Shinti smirked happily. Mike knew that the gym leader was up to something, but what? "Use..POISON POWDER!!!" Shinti shouted as his voice echoed around the gym. Chikroita started to dance as a purple aura started to radiate around Chimchar it got darker and darker.. After the poison powder took effect Mike stood up and started to leave he wanted to see if he could get a fire type for this gym..

Shinti roared as his voice echoed once more. Chikorita nodded sending the razer leafs straight into Chimchars face. Chikorita started to dance around happily.

The attack missed! [/center] Chikorita smiled as she swiftly dodged the ember attack. Shinti started to grin, "Your doing good, Squirt..." Shinti said smiling. But then he snapped his fingers the poison was doing great as well. Shinti smiled this was all apart of his gym leader strategy. "Alright then, Chikorita Tackle now!!!" Shinti commanded. Chikorita swiftly charged towards Chimchar as she slammed into Chimchars stomach using a tackle attack!

Shinti commanded as Chikorita bolted towards Chimchar at full speed. Chikorita crashed straight into Chimchar once more making chimchar slam towards the gym wall. "Your little friend over there doesn't look too good." Shinti said smiling he knew that he would defeat the chimchar easily.

"I give up, I need more training" Ichigo said as he returned chimchar, and ran out. He got to nurse joy, and asked if she could hurry. She nodded in response. "I'll hurry, it might take an hour" she said.
(CLOSED, and how is it that a grass pokemon hurts more than it should on chimchar and he is fire)
