Melissa is very small for her age at a height no more then, 5" 2", even though she is 15 years of age. She's always considered herself to be very short. Her parents tell her not to worry about it though. She's young, she'll grow sooner or later. However she does though, always complaining about being too short.
She also has a problem where she thinks she weights too much, even though she doesn't weight that much at all. She could actually stand to gain a few pounds. She only weights about 105 pounds and that's it. However when she looks at herself in the mirror she always thinks she looks fat. She's white but has a dark tan as she goes outside a lot. She likes to work out a lot so she does have a lot of muscle on her as well.
Melissa wears a white colored tank top, that shows her belly. The straps are very thin like bra straps. And the tank has bra support on it, so that she doesn't have to wear a bra, as she hates them and refuses to wear them. The tank also has an indented picture of a red colored heart, right in the center of the tank top.
Melissa, wears short short jean shorts. They are blue and the legs to the shorts roll up somewhat. The underside is colored light sky blue. And the style of the jeans it has two pockets on each side. And it's also the style of jeans that look somewhat ripped. But there made that way on purpose.
Melissa has long blond hair going to the length of her butt. It is long and straight, no curls or anything in it. Her bangs are very long. She has them but there not short bangs. They are very long going a little ways down passed her shoulders, where she keeps them in front of her ears and the rest of her hair is tucked behind her ears and touching her backside.
Melissa has deep colored red eyes. They look, kinda scary. She thinks that perhaps one of her ancestors was a Pokemorph and that's how she got her red colored eyes. But she isn't sure though. It would be nice to find out one day though.
She carries around a brown sag bag which she keeps tied around her waist. The bag is small, but it is still big enough to keep everything inside it that Melissa would need on her journey. It has tons and tons of pockets and zippers on it as well. A few of the opened spaces in the bag are very huge, while some are very tiny. She's not a very big packer when going on journeys anyway.
And on her feet she wears flip flops, that are tanned and have a flower design on it. The flower design is pink. Melissa wears a size 7 in shoes. But most times though she doesn't wear shoes at all. She likes to go bare foot a lot, cause she loves the way the dirt feels in between her toes.[/td][/tr]
[tr][td]PERSONALITY --
Melissa is kind somewhat. She loves to get out and see the great outdoors. She loves going next door every day and playing with her best friend who lives right next door to her. She loves the games her friend makes up. However, there is one game her friend always plays with her that she hates though.
It's a game where they both pretend to be wild Pokemon. Her friend, pretends to be the Fearow and makes her be the Caterpie all the time. And she has to pretend she's the Fearow's pray and try to get away. She really hates that game. However she plays it with her anyway, just to make her happy.
Her favorite short is tennis. She's a pretty good tennis player. She's actually in the tennis team at her school. Her team mates like her cause she has won them a lot of games.
However, like any other human being, she does have her faults as well. Her biggest fault is that she can't swim. She lives on an island but doesn't know how to swim, which is strange, but she lives with it. Also cause of her fault she has a somewhat fear of the water as well. She's scared to go anywhere near a pool, afraid she might drown to death. Water Pokemon also scare her.[/td][/tr]
[tr][td]HISTORY --
Melissa's fear of the water came from when she was six years old, she almost drown to death, while out boating with her parents one day. It was a normal day like any other day. Melissa's mother and father were both oceangraphers. They studied and took pictures of water Pokemon.
Melissa actually used to be able to swim. It was this outing that caused her to forget how to swim. Her parents were underwater studying the Shellder and Tentacool down there. Melissa was leaning over the boat when she slipped and fell into the water.
She grinned as she went down deeper. Just then though a Dewgong grabbed her from behind and started trying to play with her. It scared her half to death. Melissa wiggled to try and break free of the Dewgong's tight hold on her. However it's grip was very tight and it refused to let go of her.
Melissa started losing her breath. The blackness started taking over her. She didn't know how much longer she could hold her breath for. She saw a faint outline of both of her parents swimming up to her. Everything then went black.
When she came to, Melissa found herself in the cabin on the boat. The experince was over, however it left a huge emotional scar, on her. She was now scared to death of the water. She was scared to get in it at all. She cried as her mother comforted her.
From that day on, when she'd go to play with her friend next door she'd always refuse to play in the water. However, one day she was going over to her friend's home she heard screaming. Her friend was drowning. Melissa panicked and did the first thing that came to mind. She jumped in after her.
However she started drowning as well. Strange, she knew how to swim before. Maybe it was her fear of the water that made her forget how to swim. As luck would have it, her friend's parents just happened to see her fall in and came running out and pulled both the girls out of the water. She told her friend she was sorry she wasn't able to help her as she cried.
And about nine years later her parents decided to send her out on her own Pokemon journey, to hopefully help her to overcome her fear of the water. She had told them she didn't want to go on any trainer journey but they made her go anyway.[/td][/tr][/table]
