Cari had been walking along, her brand new partner inside her Pokéball. Aqurine Town was quite peaceful. After passing by her house one more time, she finally made the decision to leave.
As she neared the exit, a Pokémon appeared on her path.
"Go! Sandshrew!" She called out weakly, a little nervous on how to handle this.

Drilbur!  Drilbur -- 100% -- crush claw - mud slap - fury swipes
The Drilbur, seeing her as a weak opponent, immediately charged using Fury Swipes!

Cari yelped as the Fury Swipes tried to make contact, but seeing her trainer scream, Sandshrew laughed and jumped out of the way with ease. Poor Cari. She seemed deeply worried for her.
Not a problem. Sandshrew would just do this without her trainer's orders! Instead, she charged using Scratch.

Did 13% damage! Unaware of the Sandshrew's counterattack, the Drilbur was knocked back and struggled to get back on its feet. Now pumped and angry, it charged using Crush Claw!

What was up with this speedy Sandshrew? She knocked it back just enough for it to do a double attack!

She was amazed by Sandshrew's experience in battle. Gulping down her strength, she yelled out a command. "Use Scratch!"

Tired of these games, the Drilbur tried to use a Crush Claw once more; however, the Sandshrew dodged with great speed and landed another Scratch!
Drilbur used Fury Swipes!

Sandshrew used Scratch!

Did 13% damage!

Drilbur -- 40% -- crush claw - mud slap - fury swipes
He had enough. Charging up a powerful Crush Claw, the Drilbur charged at the Sandshrew and managed a hit! At the same time, the Sandshrew landed a Scratch as well!
Drilbur used Crush Claw!
