Jordan stood on the other end of the platform as he awaited for someone to come out. Jordan already knew a pokemon that he would use to dominate this gym match. "I'm here for a challenge, don't keep me waiting!" Jordan said. He was planning on going to route 2 but he had somehow forgotten that there was a gym in this town. So he smirked it was time for him to get his first gym match.

Shinti stood on a platform as well he smirked as he saw Jordan. "Hm? Another challenger, anyways here are the rules, we may both use two pokemon each. The challenger is allowed to substitute pokemon in battle while I can not. Now, send out your pokemon and i'll send mines out as well." Shinti said in a calm voice as the lights dimmed this was a new adjustments.

Jordan took out a pokeball from his belt as he threw it towards the ground. A bright light sprang around the room as it revealed Nincanda standing proudly and ready for battle. He didn't want to lose another match, but he had to listen to his trainer as well. "Well? Where's your pokemon? I'm ready to battle now." Jordan said smirking ready to command Nincanda to use a attack.

Shinti smirked, "Rushing are we? Anyways fine, it's time to send out my pokemon! Pansage stand by for another battle!" Shinti commanded as Pansage twirled around as he was sent out to battle another trainer. He was ready to win this match after so much loses, he finally learnt a new move as well! The gym was also remodeled after just a day, now sunlight can pass through into the gym for Pansage's advantage. Pansage smirked he was cocky.

Jordan smirked was this gym leader underestimating him? Nincanda was clearly a bug type and at a advantage since it had a move effective against grass types. "Nincanda stand by and use a gust attack let's go!" Jordan commanded as Nincanda started to move his arms around as a wind blew away Pansage.

Shinti started to laugh as it saw that this bug type had a flying type move instead of a bug type move! "Heh. A nincanda with gust...Intriguing...Anyways, Solar beam!!!" Shinti yelled making his arms aim towards Nincanda. Pansage did the same thing as it absorbed sunlight suddenly a beam shot out of his hand as it swirled towards Nincanda at full speed!

Jordan laughed at the pitiful excuse of a solar beam. Jordan snapped his fingers that attack wouldn't do much against Nincanda anyways, that was why he sent Nincanda out first! "Use Harden then use another gust attack, make this quick." Jordan said as Nincanda's body turned steel taking half of the damage from the solar beam. The steel body vanished as Nincanda moved his arms once more sending the wind swarming towards pansage!

Shinti was in shock his solar beam didn't do as much as he wanted it to do. He shouldn't have underestimated this trainer after all! "Hmph. counter with a scratch attack!" Shinti commanded as Pansage's nails grew bigger as Pansage jumped on top of Pansage prpearing a Scratch attack against him!

Nincanda shrieked as the Pansage jumped on top of him. "Heh, haven't you learned? Nincanda use a harden attack then use a fury swipes attack!" Nincanda commanded. Nincanda's body turned steelish as he swiped towards Pansage using a fury swipes attack. The fury swipes attack continued to hit at Pansage.

Shinti smirked this kid was smart after all! "We might win this match but use another Scratch attack, full strength please!" Shinti commanded as Pansage lunged towards Nincanda using a scratch attack. Pansage hoped to deal a great amount damage this time.

Jordan smirked once more as that Pansage was about to use another Scratch attack. "Harden this one then counter using a gust attack!" Jordan said as Nincada's body turned steelish then he started to jump against Pansage using as he moved his arms at rapid speed. The wind blew Pansage away with great strength!

Pansage smashed towards the hard ground. Pansage was bruised badly as he slowly stood up hurt badly. "Full power...Solar Beam then use a vine whip attack swarming around it! Don't let this kid beat you this easily!" Shinti roared as Pansage nodded. Shinti moved his hands aiming towards Nincanda as Pansage did the same thing. Pansage shot out a large beam then sprang vine whip as it swarmed around the solar beam they had hoped to hit Nincanda!

Jordan laughed at the combo attack. "Use a gust attack to cancel out those attacks then use another gust attack to blow it away using a strong attack!" Jordan commanded as Nincanda nodded. The gust attack cancelled out the solar beam and vine whip attacks then it blew Pansage away!

Shinti sighed as he returned pansage he quickly took out another pokeball as he threw it towards the ground. The white light sprang across the room as Chikorita appeared ready to fight! "Chikroita use a tackle attack please!" Shinti commanded as Chikorita nodded. Slamming towards Nincanda!

Jordan was smiling now his nincanda had taken out one pokemon so far. "Use a harden to take some damage from that tackle then counter attack using gust attack!" Jordan yelled. His strategy on winning this gym flawlessly was defense and attacking at the same time. It was the only way to prevent Nincanda from fainting.
